Position overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SEO Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our company’s overall SEO strategy. They will work closely with product, marketing and content teams to ensure that SEO best practices are integrated into all digital content and campaigns. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in SEO and digital marketing.
Responsibilities within the team:
Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and drive traffic
Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and content gap analysis to identify opportunities
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search engine updates, and industry best practices.
Conduct regular technical audits to identify and fix issues related to crawlability, indexability, and site performance
Collaborate with the development team to implement technical SEO improvements, such as page speed optimization and mobile usability enhancements
Monitor and resolve issues related to duplicate content, broken links, and other technical SEO factors
Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and images for targeted keywords
Ensure website structure, URL architecture, and internal linking strategies support SEO best practices.
Implement and monitor schema markup to enhance search engine understanding and visibility
Use SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to monitor performance, track key metrics, and generate reports
Analyze website traffic, user behaviour, and search engine rankings to measure the effectiveness of SEO efforts
Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvement
Work closely with the content team to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with business goals and user intent
Optimize existing content for search engines and ensure new content is created with SEO best practices in mind
Perform ongoing content gap analysis and recommend content improvements.
Facing the challenges of the role require:Â
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of successful SEO campaigns
Proficiency in Schema.org structured data, Google indexing alerts and Sitemap structuring
Experience in developing and implementing successful SEO strategies.
Skilled in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
